According to a report by Huffpost, the approval of a new factory just outside the Great Lakes Basin has raised concerns as it would drain millions of gallons of water from the lakes. If the project is approved by Wisconsin's Department of Natural Resources, electronics manufacturer Foxconn Technology Group, would begin to produce liquid crystal displays in a factory outside Racine, Wisconsin.
