Parents Accused Of Torturing Their 13 Children Face Possible Life In Prison


On Thursday, the California couple accused of imprisoning their 13 children in the family's suburban home were charged with torture, child abuse and false imprisonment, as prosecutors claim the victims were beaten, starved, and chained. Riverside County District Attorney Mike Hestrin told reporters at a press conference that 57 year-old David Turpin and his wife, 49 year-old Louise Turpin each face 94 years to life in prison if convicted of the over two dozen charges against them.
